Cougars saddle Colts 56-0

Continuing the season win streak, Half Moon Bay ran away with a 56-0 victory against El Camino High School. Entering halftime with a solid 42-0 lead, the Cougars held the Colts to under 100 yards in total offense while putting up 441 yards. Chase Hofmann took the opening kickoff back 82 yards, and Dom Padua ran the ball in for a 15 yard touchdown. Also adding rushing touchdowns were Chase Hofmann, Jake Quosig, and Jonathan Carrillo. 8 players in total had double digit rushing yardage on the game. Gavin Tomberlin had 2 touchdown passes on the night with 127 yards passing, along with getting 49 yards on the ground. Defensively, the Cougars stopped the Colts on every possession, in addition to not allowing a running play over 9 yards. Tristan Hofmann led the team in tackles, with 4 solo and 2 assists. Seth Tanisaki had a huge sack to stall a drive in the 2nd quarter, and Sean Fitzgerald had a great hit on a kickoff in the 4th quarter.

Community Cougar - Tom Daly
Tom is a spirited supporter of Cougar Football.  Along with bringing his sparkling personality on game day, Tom takes care of all the Cougars' equipment needs.  Tom's wife, Rachel, is in charge of the Cougar snack bar.  Tom's daughter, Danielle, cheers for the Cougars and his son Tommy is a junior on the team.  

Coming up next week, the Cougars finish off their non-league schedule, facing off against Mills High School at home. JV game will start at 5PM, and Varsity will take the field at 7:30PM
