Community Cougar: Breen Hofmann
We are thrilled to recognize HMBHS Hall of Famer Breen Hofmann as this week’s Community Cougar!
Breen’s Cougar roots run deep. A standout multi-sport athlete for HMBHS in the 1980s, Breen went on to run Coastside Pop Warner before moving up to coach at HMBHS, helping lead our program during our historic Championship Run. His passion for the game clearly rubbed off on his sons, Chase (#21) and Tristan "Chinny" (#12), who were vital parts of those championship teams and both earned the rare honor of having their numbers retired.
Though he has stepped off the sidelines, Breen’s support for HMBHS Football hasn't missed a beat. From hosting team meals at his home, the Lazy H Ranch, to offering constant encouragement to our players and coaches, Breen remains a cornerstone of our football family.
Breen currently lives in Half Moon Bay with his wife, Emma. Thank you, Breen, for decades of dedication, leadership, and Cougar pride! 🏈
