Last Thursday the Cougars traveled to San Mateo to take on the Bearcats. The Cougars lost 34-8 to a much improved San Mateo team. There were some positives to the game, but turnovers and lack of consistency defensively led to a lopsided outcome.

This week’s Community Cougar is veteran teacher, Sean Riordan. Mr. Riordan teaches art and metal at HMBHS. The Cougars would like to recognize Mr. Riordan’s student centered approach to teaching and his overall positivity on campus. Thank you, Mr. Riordan.

This week the Cougars will travel to Belmont and attempt to get in the win column Thursday night against the Carlmont Scots. The JVs kick off at 4:00 and the Varsity kick off at 7:00
