The Cougars suffered a disappointing loss to the Leland Chargers on the Cougars’ home opener at John Francis Field. The Cougars got behind early and couldn’t claw their way back into the game. The final result was a humbling, 40-7 loss.

This Week’s Community Cougar is David Badet. Very fitting that a local sports fanatic is a favorite of our players. Mr. Badet, Geometry teacher and basketball coach at HMBHS, in his short time at HMBHS, has demonstrated everything that HMB is about. Mr. Badet is intelligent, hard working, and serves our students with 0 ego. HMB Football would like to thank Mr. Badet for all that he does for all of our students at HMBHS.

This week the Cougars play one of three Thursday night games. The Cougars play at San Mateo High School on 8/31. The JV kick off at 4 and the varsity at 7.
