Before halftime Gavin Tomberlin connected with Hayden Von Almen for a touchdown and the Cougars held a 21-12 lead going into the 3rd quarter. Hofmann then scored his third TD and HMB had a 28-12 lead. In the 4th quarter HMB put the game away when Tomberlin scored a touchdown on the ground to give the Cougars a 35-12 advantage. The JV team could not overcome a slow start and lost to SSF by the score of 25-12. Turnovers and HMB's inability to get off the field on 3rd down led to the young Cougars' loss. The loss dropped HMB to 3-5-1, 2-3. Kolby Dare threw touchdown passes to Danny Mack and Blake Schmieder in the loss.

Next week both teams will complete their regular season with the traditional "Skull Game" on Senior Night against the rival Terra Nova Tigers.
